Disposable Glove Sizing Guide

Find Your Perfect Fit

Selecting the correct glove size is critical for both safety and comfort. A proper fit ensures you maintain full dexterity and touch sensitivity while keeping your hands protected. Whether you are using Nitrile, Latex, or Vinyl, use this guide to find the size that works best for you.

How to Measure

To get the most accurate fit, you will need a flexible tape measure (or a piece of string and a ruler). You will need to take two measurements:

1. Measure Your Circumference Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of your palm (across the knuckles), excluding your thumb. Record this number in inches.

2. Measure Your Length Measure from the very bottom of your palm (where it meets your wrist) to the tip of your middle finger. Record this number in inches.

The "Larger Size" Rule: If your circumference and length measurements fall into two different size categories on the chart below, always choose the larger size. This ensures the glove will not be too tight, which can cause tearing or fatigue.

Size Reference Chart

Glove Size Hand Circumference Hand Length
Small (S) 6" – 7" 6" – 6.5"
Medium (M) 7" – 8" 6.5" – 7.5"
Large (L) 8" – 9" 7.5" – 8.5"
X-Large (XL) 9" – 10" 8.5" – 9.5"
XX-Large (2XL) 10" – 11" 9.5" +

Material Fit Guide

Different materials react differently to your hand shape. Keep these characteristics in mind when ordering:

  • Nitrile Gloves:

    • The Fit: Designed to be snug and secure.

    • The Feel: High tactile sensitivity for precision work.

    • Advice: Nitrile does not stretch as much as latex. If you are "between sizes," it is highly recommended to size up to avoid rips.

  • Latex Gloves:

    • The Fit: Acts like a "second skin."

    • The Feel: High elasticity and comfort.

    • Advice: Because latex stretches well, it is more forgiving if the glove is slightly small. However, for long-term wear, sizing up is still safer to prevent hand fatigue.

  • Vinyl Gloves:

    • The Fit: Generally a looser, more relaxed fit.

    • The Feel: Smooth and easy to put on/take off.

    • Advice: Vinyl has very little stretch. If your measurements are close to the upper limit of a size, definitely choose the next size up to ensure mobility.

Quick Check: Do You Have the Right Size?

  • Too Tight: The glove restricts finger movement or feels like it is cutting off circulation. This increases the risk of the glove tearing during use.

  • Too Loose: The glove slips around, bunches up at the fingertips, or falls off. This creates safety hazards and reduces your grip control.

  • Just Right: The glove fits snugly against the skin without feeling restrictive, allowing you to move your fingers freely.
